Teaching

Over the course of my doctoral studies at the University of Mississippi, I have gained diverse teaching experiences. I taught undergraduate-level courses on Comparative Politics and Political Science Methods. I also served as a teaching assistant for graduate and undergraduate-level classes on quantitative research methods, among other courses.

My experiences as a teaching assistant and instructor informed me of the challenges that students face with regard to methodological training as they embark on the graduate program. Consequently,  I co-organized Methods Boot Camps for incoming graduate students in the Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi. The sessions focused on topics ranging from data visualization to causal inference and provided students from diverse disciplines with a refresher or a primer on political methodology. I also led weekly Stats and Data Lab sessions for graduate students, which covered assistance with coding-related issues in Stata and R, as well as issues with model specification, selection of appropriate statistical tests, and interpretation of outputs.

I am currently a faculty member at Drew University, where I teach undergraduate-level courses on Comparative Political Systems and Comparative Political Economy.
