STEP 1

The first step is to empty everything from the pockets. If possible, leave every pocket unfastened, unzipped, and turned inside out. If you can, take off any added clip-on accessories, metal parts, or removable straps.

Run a handheld vacuum nozzle along all the seams to remove any debris or dust once the backpack is empty.
