Ms. Holt
Hello! My name is Kendall Holt and I am an Assistant Band Director at Oak Run Middle School! This is going to be my second year as a band director and I am so excited! I teach the beginner French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba as well as the Symphonic Band. In addition to ORMS, I help teach the NBHS Mighty Unicorn Marching Band in the fall and I also teach horn choir in the spring.
I graduated from the Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma where I received a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While at Oklahoma State, I performed with the university symphonic and concert bands, university horn choir and the Cowboy Marching Band. I served in many leadership roles while in college including section leader for the CMB, principal horn in concert band as well as principal horn in symphonic band. I was also an active member of the band service fraternity known as Kappa Kappa Psi. While in college, I marched mellophone with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018 to 2021 and served as a section leader in 2021.
I then joined the visual staff at the Blue Knights for their 2022 season and this past summer I was on the visual staff at the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps.
