Safeguarding and Child Protection
At OaKley ASN, we are committed to the safety and well-being of all children, young people, and families we support. Our safeguarding policy aligns with national and local authority legislation, including the National Guidance for Child Protection in Scotland (2021) and the Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) approach.
We ensure that:
Children, young people, and staff are protected from harm or abuse.
All staff and volunteers undergo PVG scheme checks before working with children and families.
Child protection training is mandatory and regularly reviewed for all staff and volunteers.
Concerns are promptly reported to our designated child protection coordinators.
