We are all amateurs and have made a number of films which are usually shown at our games and quiz afternoons and entered into the British International Film Festival each year. Every month a “theme” is set for guidance on your choice of poem/s and, of course, we welcome poems written by members. Some members like to bring a short musical offering on the theme. Members take turns in ”Leading” the Group - no great responsibility as it usually means only once in a year!
Meetings are held every 4th Thursday of the month 10.30 – 12.00 in the Community Room at the Central Library in Church Street, Enfield Town. A donation of £1 per meeting is required towards paying for the room.
Upcoming meetings and themes:
May 28 – Heroes
June 25 - Smiles
July 23 - Flowers
August 27 - Music
Don’t be put off by any of the themes – interpret them just as you want to. Do come along and meet us!
