Welcome to Eclypse Taggering!
This is a community-driven Gorilla Tag fan game built for fun, competition, and creativity. By playing Eclypse Taggering, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, or permanent bans.

1. Respect & Behavior

All players must:

• Treat others with respect at all times
  
  

• Avoid harassment, bullying, or targeting individuals
  
  

• Accept differences in skill level, age, and playstyle
  
  

• Follow moderator instructions
  
  

Not allowed:

• Hate speech or slurs (race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, etc.)
  
  

• Threats, intimidation, or doxxing
  
  

• Sexual, graphic, or disturbing behavior
  
  

• Encouraging self-harm or violence
  
  

2. Voice Chat Rules (Meta / VR Safety)

Eclypse Taggering follows Meta’s VR platform & voice chat standards.

Voice chat must NOT include:

• Excessive screaming, mic-spamming, or ear-rape
  
  

• Sexual noises or explicit language
  
  

• Harassment through voice
  
  

• Impersonating moderators or developers
  
  

• Playing copyrighted audio excessively or maliciously
  
  

Reminder:
Voice chat may be moderated or recorded for safety and enforcement.

3. Cheating, Mods & Exploits

To keep the game fair:

Not allowed:

• Cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs
  
  

• Unauthorized mods or modified clients
  
  

• Speed hacks, fly hacks, or collision abuse
  
  

• Intentionally breaking game mechanics
  
  

Allowed:

• Cosmetic-only mods if explicitly approved
  
  

• Reporting bugs responsibly
  
  

Using exploits for advantage will result in immediate punishment.

4. Platform & Meta Rules Compliance

Eclypse Taggering complies with:

• Meta Quest Platform Rules
  
  

• Meta Community Standards
  
  

• VR multiplayer safety policies
  
  

This means:

• No illegal activity
  
  

• No real-world threats
  
  

• No scams or impersonation
  
  

• No sharing personal information (yours or others’)
  
  

If Meta bans your account, Eclypse Taggering bans may also apply.

5. Player Safety & Privacy

You must NOT:

• Share real names, addresses, phone numbers, or locations
  
  

• Ask others for personal or private information
  
  

• Record or stream players without consent (where applicable)
  
  

• Encourage unsafe real-world behavior
  
  

Protect yourself and others.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

Moderators exist to keep Eclypse Taggering safe and fun.

Moderators may:

• Mute, kick, or ban players
  
  

• Remove disruptive players
  
  

• Enforce rules without debate during live sessions
  
  

Do not:

• Argue with moderators in-game
  
  

• Abuse or impersonate staff
  
  

• Evade bans using alt accounts
  
  

Appeals may be handled outside the game (Discord or form).

7. Fan Game Disclaimer

Eclypse Taggering is:

• A fan-made Gorilla Tag–inspired game
  
  

• Not affiliated with Another Axiom
  
  

• Not officially affiliated with Meta
  
  

All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Final Rule (The Golden Rule)

If your behavior would:

• Ruin someone’s experience
  
  

• Break Meta’s VR rules
  
  

• Make the game unsafe or unwelcoming
