• Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and phone number via Firebase Authentication.

• Property Listings: Any information, photos, or descriptions you upload when listing a property.

• Location Data: With your permission, we may collect Approximate Location data to show you relevant property listings in your area (e.g., Mombasa or Nairobi).

• Device Information: We collect device identifiers (like Android ID) via Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and security.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the NyumbaSpot platform.

• To allow you to create an account and manage your listings.

• To facilitate communication between property seekers and advertisers.

• To analyse app usage and fix technical bugs.

4. Data Sharing & Security

• Third-Party Services: We use Google Firebase to store data and handle authentication. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law to comply with legal obligations in Kenya.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Google Play Compliance)

In accordance with Google Play policies, we provide transparent data control:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the App Settings menu.

• Web Request: If you cannot access the app, you may request account and data deletion by emailing nyumbaspot@yahoo.com.

• Retention: Upon account deletion, all personal identifiers and property listings are removed from our active databases within 30 days.

6. Children’s Privacy

NyumbaSpot is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app.
