Guide to Selecting Books

1. Most Battles feature a wide variety of ages. Aim for a mixture of books that will be accessible for both the low and high end of your age ranges.

2. Feature diverse authors and experiences, keeping in mind ethnicity, race, gender #ownvoices, etc...

3. Accessibility may be an issue given library closures due to Covid-19. Look for books that are available on digital services provided by your library.

4. Try for a mixture of genres, as well as both fiction and nonfiction books.
