I have been developing this story that I hope to transpire into a comic or animated show in the near future. It's still in the writing and designing phases but this below is the information on the two protagonists and a synopsis of the story.

Early Concepts for Uma and Lori

The Story

The Story of Uma and Lori takes place a very long time ago. Angels and Demons had inhabited the then Young Earth. The land was bountiful and rich in resources causing the two kinds to fight over who would claim the earth as their own. After years of fighting, the Grand Angel Helios and Demon Leader Kolger decided to split the territory in two; one half belonging to the Angels in which they dubbed their land "Paradise" and the other to the Demons in which they referred to their land as "Down Under". Strict laws were put into place to keep the two kinds separate. If one were to trespass to the other's side, another battle would follow, this time, leaving one kind to inhabit the earth all for themselves. One fateful day, Uma and two other fellow imps decide to pull a giant heist in stealing a holy artifact from Paradise's treasury in hopes of untold riches in return. Unfortunately, their plan fails when they are caught by the angelic guards, the other demons leaving Uma behind to face her punishment. When coming face to face with the small demon Uma, Helios tries to think of a proper punishment trying not to instantly go into battle based on the circumstance. With that, Helios decides that Uma is ordered as punishment to look over and be a friend to the fragile angel named Lori. Blind and soft-spoken, Lori never had the opportunity to make friends with the other angels. As they progressed and excelled, she was left behind. Meeting Uma instantly sparks Lori with fascination and wonder, curious to know more and more about her new assigned companion. This interaction with Lori at first disgusts Uma leading her to do everything in her power to drive Lori away, even scaring her at times but to no avail. As they go on adventures together, they learn more about each other and their unlikely companionship grows into a Friendship.
