problems and the WEakness
- One of major issues that arise from the NYC MTA subway system is the outdated technology.
- Outdated Techonology
- Metrocard swiping is outdated. Many countries have abandoned this use.
- Many other countries including New York's LIRR have charging stations/outlets in public trains however MTA doesn't have this yet.
- No WiFi
- Workers have outdated systems and computers

2. The interior of the NYC MTA subway system is very uncomfortable and outdated. Other countries have much better seating and more space in the subway.
- No cushioned seats
- Tight space (causes overcrowding)
On the top is London's subway system with great space and great cushioning seats.
3. Unsafe conditions happens very frequently on the MTA subway and on the platforms.
- Overcrowding
- Floods
- Deaths/Injuries
4. Unsanitary subway and platform conditions
- Infestation of insects and rats
- Liter on trains, and platforms
5. Inconvenient Factors
- Train Delays
- Sometimes broken card machines
- Upgrading to new technology and advancements are taking too long, and are behind from the rest of the world.
- More advancements to going green could be done.
