College Enrichment

The Baruch College STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program) Academy is a New York State Education Department-funded pre-college program for middle and high school students interested in pursuing careers in the STEM professions.

CUNY offers a pre-college program for middle school and highschool students, College Now which offers enrollment into a program that assists students allowing them to earn credits while still in highschool and helping them receive their degree at a faster pace.

CUNY provides a pre-college program for highschool students at Hunter College, College Now, which offers enrollment into a college accredited course while still in highschool. These courses allow students to earn their degrees at a faster pace.

Teak Fellowship is an NYC based program which aims to help low income talented students progress through intensive summer classes, preparing them for success through both highschool and college. Teak Fellowship emphasizes a strong support system to help students thrive through their academic and professional careers.

The Academic Year Immersion program prepares highschool students through a 10 week college experience that immerses them into both college course work and community activities. The program is offered for students in grades 9 through 12 as well as students in the 8th grade who expect to be in 9th grade by the start of the program. The program is offered both in the fall and summer.
