Purpose of Red Cards

All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The ILRC’s Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents demand entry to a home.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams’ Office has compiled the linked list of Know Your Rights resources for immigrants.  

The LAC has compiled this list of resources on immigrants’ rights, strategies to support and protect community members from ICE deportations, and tips on caring for yourself and each other during this time
