No, you do not need to be a University of Waterloo student. Students from any post-secondary institution are welcome.
There are no age restrictions as long as you are a post-secondary student. This includes undergrad, master's, and PhD students.

No! NYC 2025 is free of charge.
We will be serving lunch and snacks. We will have vegetarian, vegan, and halal options. If your dietary restriction is severe or you have a dietary restriction not listed, please note that in your registration or email nyc@uwaterloo.ca and we will try our best to accommodate you.
There is an unofficial coat check where students may store their belongings for the day. No one other than NYC attendees and organizers may access this room but attendees are responsible for any lost/damaged items.
Student ID and one other form of ID (driver’s license, health card, etc.) and printed copies of your resume.
