Transfer Related Organizations

Intercollege Relations Commission (ICRC) A unit of Washington Council. Facilitates transfer between two year to four year institutions. Works with other agencies to assist with projects related to transfer articulation and higher education legislation. Overseen by an Executive Board. National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) A professional organization for those who work in college admissions. Paid membership required as individual or institution. NW STEP (formerly BACC-CTC) Membership is free but schools must be regionally accredited. Overseen by two co-chairs, one 2-year school representative and one 4-year school representative. (https://sites.google.com/view/nwstep/)

State Board of Community and Technical College (SBCTC) Led by a nine-member governor-appointed board — advocates, coordinates and directs Washington state’s system of 34 public community and technical colleges. (http://www.sbctc.edu/)


Washington Council of High School and College Relations (WSCHR) Colleges and universities must pay a membership fee to join. Schools must be accredited through Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities. Overseen by an appointed board of directors. (www.washingtoncouncil.org)
