Kristin Stonnell has been a member of the NWSA Music Department since 2000, when she began her career with CMS. This marks her 24th year of teaching and she is looking forward to another busy, successful year in the piano department.

​Mrs. Stonnell has developed the curriculum for the school's piano program, which continues to grow each year. The 2009-2010 school year marked the introduction of a new course designed to meet the needs of later beginning students. She also oversees the training of student accompanists to assist with the choral and musical theatre departments.

Mrs. Stonnell received a Bachelor of Music Degree from UNC-Greensboro and is certified to teach music in grades K-12. She enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and Broadway shows.
