Our group is made up of teachers that are interested in implementing all or part of a modern band model into their classes, and folks that already teach modern band. We meet quarterly online to share resources, collaborate, offer professional development, and support each other. We also meet together at the MusicWill "Modern Band Summit" in Fort Collins, CO every July.
If you teach in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, or western Canada...please join us as we live out our mission to innovating music education through modern band!

On any given day you may find Amberlynn researching the latest Tibean hip-hop hit with a Vancouver Washington 3rd grader, teaching teens the silliest dance moves of the 1920's, or improvising academic and "brain rot" lyrics with ORS Youth Choir singers. Whatever the setting or age, Amberlynn is driven by fundamental values of play, community care, and brave authenticity. They have presented regionally and nationally and despite being a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with an MAT in choral music education, Amberlynn finds her best learning happens alongside her students.
