The Ravensbourne Regional Badminton Association (RRBA) and the Orpington North West Kent Badminton Association (ONWK) have merged to form the North West Kent Badminton Association (NWKBA).

As there was a large overlap between the teams that played in the respective leagues it was thought sensible to join forces to reduce the overall administrative burden of running separate leagues. Committee members drawn from both Regions form the first Executive Committee of the new Region.

The inaugural season of the North West Kent Badminton League will feature teams drawn from 17 clubs: 4U, Bexley, Bexley Feathers, Central Strood, Chislehurst, Cooperswood, Crofton Arrows, Crossfire, Falcons, Hayes (Kent), Lee Strokers, Net Flicks, Orpington,       Park Langley, Trinity Academy, Westmoreland Dominoes and Wildcats.

There are seven leagues for clubs to enter: Composite 6s (1 Division), Ladies 6s (1 Division), Ladies 4s (2 Divisions), Mens 6s (4 Divisions), Mens 4s (4 Divisions), Mixed 6s (3 Divisions) and Mixed 4s (2 Divisions).
