So I have my new Quadro 600 installed, and everything that comes with the NVidia software (demos, etc.) is working great in 3D. However, I still cannot get anything to work. I have Stereo vision turned on, set to Quad Buffer. I have tried running it embedded, stand-alone, saved as runtime files, and through the blender player using the command line. Am I missing something?

If you hold an object in the real world close enough to your eyes so that you get a double vision of the object, you can start to understand how this technology works. Increasing the depth via the slider on the back of the IR emitter simulates that same effect you get when holding that object close to your eyes. The glasses then simulate what happens when you alternate closing each eye while still looking at the close object. Basically, with one eye closed you no longer see double, but each eye gives you a different perspective on the object. Now, imagine alternating the closing and opening of each eye, very quickly. This is what the glasses do, they rapidly darkening each lens, alternating back and forth, to give your eyes the impression of one amalgamated perspective, producing the stereoscopic 3D effect, in theory.

Hello everyone, I've got a pair of Nvidia 3D vision 2 glasses. Unfortunately, my monitors do not output a sync pulse, nor does the software allow me to manually adjust the timing to make it work. I'm seeing double images, the pulsing is somewhat working, but the shutter timing is off.

Play games in 3D by running each eye at 60hz with a 120hz monitor and shuttering each eye every other frame. Of course, the shuttering has to be timed right, which is the issue. 3d vision ready displays output a sync pulse so the shutters can be timed perfectly, mine don't have this sync pulse. All nvidia would need to do is add a slider that can be used to manually sync it, but I can't find anything of the sort

Hello I am new in pytorch. Now I am trying to run my network in GPU. Some of the articles recommend me to use torch.cuda.set_device(0) as long as my GPU ID is 0. However some articles also tell me to convert all of the computation to Cuda, so every operation should be followed by .cuda() . My questions are:

-) Is there any simple way to set mode of pytorch to GPU, without using .cuda() per instruction?, I just want to set all computation just in 1 GPU.

-) How to check and make sure that our network is running on GPU?, when I am using torch.cuda.set_device(0), I checked using nvidia-smi and I got 0% in volatile GPU. It is different when I am using Tensorflow or caffe which more than 10%. I am affraid that my pytorch still using CPU.
