Hosted by Northern Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (NVHAA), this spectacular, formal event is open to currently homeschooled students ages 14-18 years by April 18, 2026, the date of the event. It’s a chance to celebrate your time in high school.

Entertainment is provided by a live DJ playing a wide-variety of clean, old and new music to keep everyone out on the dance floor. A themed photo booth will be on-site to capture your prom photos using personal phones/cameras. Grazing tables with a variety of snack foods and drinks will be available throughout the evening. This event sells out quickly. There is a limited number of tickets available, so do not delay in purchasing your tickets!
NVHAA chaperones will be stationed throughout the venue, both inside and outside, to ensure the safety of the teens. We are delighted to provide young men and women an opportunity to enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment.

Bring a printed or a digital copy of your ticket and present it at check-in.
Single entry: Each ticket for the prom is for one entry only. Re-entry will not permitted, so please plan accordingly.
Refund Policy: Ticket refund requests will be granted thru April 4, 2026, which is two weeks prior to the event. Please send your request to the Prom Team. Beginning April 5, 2026, refund requests will not be processed for any reason.
Location: The NVHAA Prom will be held in Woodbridge, VA. Address details will be printed on your ticket.
Parking: There is limited parking availability at the venue. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
Health/Medical Information: All information provided by ticket purchasers is kept strictly confidential and will be used exclusively by NVHAA Administration to generate an official registry. Include any allergy (food, environmental, etc.) or medical information for each ticket holder. Please ensure all questions are answered accurately and completely so prom planners can best prepare for the evening.
If you are ill or feeling unwell on the day of the prom, please stay home. Your health is important to us. We prefer that you get better and that everyone at the prom does not get sick.
Modest Dress Code is strictly enforced: Admission into this formal event is contingent upon adherence to following the Modest Dress Code. We expect attendees and their parents to use godly wisdom when choosing prom attire. Inappropriate or unacceptable attire will prevent a student from entering the event without a refund. If you have questions about your attire, please contact the Prom Coordinator before the event to ensure that your attire complies with the Modest Dress Code.
Ladies: Floor-length ball gowns or knee-length formal dresses only.
Not allowed: No plunging neckline, no skin-tight or two-piece midriff-bearing or flesh-revealing gowns.
Ladies: No pants, trousers or pantsuits .
Gentlemen: A tux or a suit-and-tie combo only.

Who can attend the prom?
Primarily homeschooled high school students ages 14-18 years by the date of the event are welcome to attend.
May I bring a date?
Yes. Make sure to indicate the correct information of your date when you purchase the ticket. All information provided by ticket purchasers is kept strictly confidential and will be used exclusively by NVHAA.
Do I need a date?
No, many students attend in groups or on their own.
What is the dress code?

What happens at the prom?
It's party time! Music & dancing, a DJ playing all the popular hits, selfies & group photos, food & drinks, socializing & fun!
Will there be a professional photographer at the event?
No, there will not be a professional photographer at the event. Attendees will use their own phones/cameras to capture this fun occasion. Chaperones can also assist in taking photos.
