Nuw Crafts Ltd is a UK-based startup dedicated to the design, production, and sale of high-quality handmade ceramic goods. We collaborate with skilled Mandarin-speaking ceramic artists to create artisan tableware, decorative pieces, and limited-edition functional art. Our goal is to combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, building a sustainable and recognizable brand in both the UK and international markets.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager to lead brand development and growth across digital and offline channels. The role involves building brand awareness, managing campaigns, and working closely with the Retail team to align marketing strategy with sales goals and cultural storytelling around our artisan partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across social media, email, and web
• Build and manage brand content that highlights artisan stories and craftsmanship
• Plan and run seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events
• Manage social media channels and grow community engagement
• Collaborate with the Retail Director on cross-channel sales and marketing alignment
• Track campaign performance and optimize based on data and analytics
• Manage relationships with PR contacts, influencers, and marketing agencies/vendors
• Oversee marketing budget allocation and reporting
Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in marketing management, preferably in retail, lifestyle, or creative industries
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (SEO, paid social, email marketing platforms)
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Etsy) and analytics tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency a plus for artist/brand storytelling
• Creative eye for visual branding and content aligned with an artisan/craft aesthetic
• Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills
