A secluded level grassy field site, used as a private camping ground not open to the general public, space for 20 units, including tents, cars with tentboxes, campervans, caravans and motorhomes, space for dog walking within the bounds of the site. Bounded and screened to the south west by a Leylandii hedge beyond which is a public footpath running out to the coast. To the north east is a stream, pond and beyond a county wildlife zone (no access). Neighbouring fields to south have horses and chickens
Views from the site include Towednack Church, a tin mine engine house at Cripplesease where the nearest pub, ’The Engine’ House is located. The site is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Designated Heritage Coasts and the international dark skies zone, the pond is part of a county wildlife zone
There is no mains power on the site but there is mains water, two toilets with cold water sinks. There is one small gas powered hot shower and a wood fired suana. The facilities for chemical toilet disposal at the site require biodegradable / natural products only. There is a covered shelter with tables and benches
The name 'Nuvivum' comes from a bottle of animal tonic we found in the stream, a brandname of a company called Pinkertons Ltd research suggests that it means 'A promise of a new life' which we feel is quite fitting for our lovely little site that will hopfully be just the tonic you need.
