Biography

Dr. Zhao Kuifeng obtained his PhD degree from School of Civil and Environment Engineering of Nanyang Technological University in February 2015. His thesis was about the study of open channel flows in the presence of emergent and submerged vegetation. His undergraduate study was from the same university, majoring in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Computing. He also has 2 years industrial experiences in Finite Element Modelling (FEM) of Ship Structures.

He joined NUS as a postdoc research fellow in March 2017 on an interdisciplinary project – “Ecologically engineering Singapore’s seawalls to enhance biodiversity”.
