Dr. Dinesh has a Masters degree in Mathematics (University of Madras) and PhD in Ocean Engineering (IIT Madras). During his PhD, Dinesh developed Lattice Boltzmann models for free surface and two phase flow problems with particular attention being devoted to the breaking of periodic waves. Here at Coastal group in NUS, Dinesh explores the numerical modeling of water waves using Lattice Boltzmann schemes.
