Singapore's Role in International Affairs:
NUSChatterPol collaborated with NUSC Admin to organise a talk about Singapore's role in international affairs in light of recent developments overseas (eg. Ukraine, Gaza, Myanmmar) in October 2024. MFA Director-General Loy Hui-Chien was invited down to share his experience dealing with some of these issues and Singapore's foreign policy approach. The conversation was moderated by Dr. Bjorn Gomes.
US Elections 2024:
NUSChatterPol did a series of events following the closely-watched US Presidential Elections of 2024, hosting two watch parties for both the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates, as well as one event tracking the results as they came in on the morning of 6th November 2024 (SGT), with food and games.
National Day Rally 2024:

Taiwanese Elections 2024:
NUSChatterPol organised an event tracking the first major elections of 2024 to kick of what's dubbed as the "year of elections". It was a geopolitically significant event as Taiwanese voters sent the ruling Democratic People's Party back into power with the election of President Lai Ching-te.
