Course Synopsis
This course covers the basic concepts of corruption, including the values of integrity, anti-corruption, forms of corrupt behavior, abuse of power in daily activities and organizations, and methods of preventing corruption. Corruption-related cases are also discussed. The teaching and learning methods are implemented in the form of 'experiential learning' through individual and group activities. By the end of this course, students will be able to understand the practices of integrity, concepts of corruption, anti-corruption, and abuse of power, as well as the prevention of corruption in society and organizations.
Course Learning Outcome
This course aims to provide students with a solid foundation in the principles of integrity and anti-corruption. First, students will learn to explain these concepts and how they apply to daily life, emphasizing ethics and professionalism. Next, the course explores various forms of corrupt behavior and the abuse of power, helping students relate these issues to both personal and organizational contexts while developing interpersonal skills. Lastly, students will work on synthesizing effective solutions to integrity and corruption challenges, honing their personal problem-solving skills in the process.
