My passion is to teach and support others through their recovery from trauma.

Karen Gonzalez- Torres a certified trauma coach and non-violent trauma-informed parent educator, stands as a devoted state-certified advocate for survivors of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking. As a facilitator of trauma-informed art healing workshops, she guides individuals on a path of healing.


Beyond that, Karen is an experienced leader in providing guidance for leadership training and an engaging public speaker. In her capacity as the founder of Helping Hands Resource Center (HHRC) and Nurturing Lives, Karen passionately dedicates herself to the crucial mission of supporting survivors and cultivating a nurturing environment for their healing journey.


Alongside her role as a healing art leader and wellness advocate, she brings over a decade of experience collaborating with individuals, families, organizations, businesses, and faith-based communities. Through her multifaceted expertise, Karen Gonzalez continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves.
