1. International Researcher, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Department of Management, Venice, Italy

Collaborators: Dr. Soheila Raeisi and Professor Meng Lingjie, from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China
Conceptualized and conducted research activities that aligned with both universities' research areas, ensuring consistency with established methodological approaches and models, adherence to project timelines, and completeness of documentation.
Constructed studies related to the theoretical framework and systematic literature review to support the conceptual framework proposed for the project's implementation, and developed reports, ensuring the conceptual framework's relevance, comprehensiveness, and currency of information, based on the grant's budget.
Published research in two high-impact journals, namely the Journal of Risk and Financial Management and Administrative Sciences, obtaining significant citations.
Developed detailed project proposals and secured funding, demonstrating a strong ability to manage research budgets effectively.
Engaged in interdisciplinary research collaborations, enhancing the depth and breadth of the research output.
Organized and led workshops and training sessions for peers and students, fostering a collaborative research environment.

Conceptualized and conducted short-term experiments and research activities that aligned with the Department of Management's research areas, ensuring consistency with established methodological approaches and models, adherence to project timelines, and completeness of documentation.

Wrote and published articles in peer-reviewed journals that highlighted findings from two pilot studies, primary research, and research activities, ensuring consistency with the highest standards of academic publication and showcasing the Department’s scientific leadership. Targeted high-impact journals.
Communicated with supervisors and collaborators on the development and progress of the research, ensuring that relevant information and issues in the project's implementation and experiments were captured comprehensively and timely. Arranged monthly meetings for this purpose and sent progress reports to collaborators a week before each meeting.
Developed collaborative links with core scientific personnel in related research areas to gain exposure and build knowledge on research activities and approaches to subsequently improve the conceptual development and implementation of the project. This included attending workshops, training, and conferences.
Utilized appropriate and current techniques for the research to ensure the integrity and security of the experimental process (e.g., statistical analysis), comprehensive documentation, and replicability of experimental procedures.
Designed and organized databases and Gantt charts of the project framework, experimental research design, and fieldwork to support overall research management, including monitoring and evaluating project inputs, risk management, actions, outcomes, and dissemination of findings.

Conducted research in my area of expertise and contributed to the advancement of academic knowledge in marketing and business history.
Delivered lectures and participated in seminars related to my field of expertise, transferring knowledge to the academic community at Kyoto University.
Collaborated with faculty members and other scholars to enhance academic research, establishing future collaborations with the university.
Provided guidance and support to postgraduate students and early career researchers in my field of expertise, helping to train future scholars in marketing and business history.
Maintained active communication with the host university's faculty members and contributed to their academic and research activities, fostering ongoing collaboration between the university and my institution.
Disseminated research outcomes through publications, presentations, and other academic channels to both academic and non-academic audiences, sharing the results of my research and contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in marketing and business history.
4. Researcher (Oversea Mobility program to University of Malaya, Malaysia), Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Department of Management, Venice, Italy

Host supervisor: Professor Shakila Yacob (Director of International Institute of Public Policy & Management) and Professor Rosilawati Zainol (Director of Centre for Civilisational Dialogue).
Conducted research and delivered lectures in my area of expertise as a visiting scholar from Ca' Foscari University of Venice to the University of Malaya.
Collaborated with faculty members of the host university to enhance academic research, develop joint research projects, and co-author publications.
Delivered lectures, participated in seminars, and presented research findings to the university's academic community.
Engaged in student mentoring and provided guidance to postgraduate students, particularly research students.
Maintained active communication with the host university's faculty members and contributed to their academic and research activities.
Additionally, I was appointed by the Director of the Centre of Civilizational Dialogue at the University of Malaya as an Associate Member of Academics (External) in recognition of my contributions to the university's academic community.
5. Doctoral Researcher, The York Management School, University of York, York, United Kingdom

Supervisors: Professor Teresa Da Silva Lopes, Professor Bob Doherty, Dr Fernando Fastoso
Organised the time, place and advisory meetings with Ph.D supervisors and advisory committee members.
Fulfilled the university requirement to meet the Ph.D supervisors and individual advisory committee members often at least 3 meetings per academic term.
Attended all compulsory research courses organised by the Research Development Team (RDT), and additional research courses organised by the White Rose Universities Network (at the Sheffield University and Leeds University).
Conducted fieldwork in the United States with specific research tools and data collection such as documents analysis (archives, annual reports, newspapers, government reports), interviews (both face-to-face and on skype), as well as business strategy trends observation over time.
Discussed the contributions of this research on appropriate theories and findings that led to theory building and a better knowledge of the phenomenon.
6. Interdisciplinary Researcher (Research and Outreach Program), University of York, Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence, York, United Kingdom,

Conducted and analyzed green marketing studies such as: Marketing Mix Analysis, Consumer Preference Segmentation, Brand Mix and Depth. Mix-Method was carried out to explain the trends.
Facilitated public education and outreach efforts, such as at the European Researchers’ Night (NIGHT), Festival of Ideas, Falling Walls Berlin Lab and Conference, Russell Group Road show, and White Rose Network.
Published research outcomes for public readers through media such as the New Straits Times, The Star, Malaysian Digest, Saalam Gateway, Ingredient South Asia Magazines, and Falling Walls Fragments Blog.
Supported the group with administrative tasks, networking, and future collaboration.
7. Research Assistant to Professor Teresa Da Silva Lopes (Director of CEGBI), University of York, Centre for Evolution of Business and Institution (CEGBI), York, United Kingdom

Examined data collected to identify significant trends, and notable historical changes using qualitative approach.
Provided quality control over all aspects of historical archive data collection and analysis processes.
Maintained strict confidentiality levels regarding collected data and results.
Created a large database for data management work. Data gathered from historical archives stored in this database.
Completed three projects using content analysis: (1) Cadbury and Rowntree Brands, (2) Alcoholic Beverages Trademarks, and (3) Brand Heritage during Crisis (Cacao Production).
8. Program Coordinator for Ph.D Research Seminar Series, University of York, Centre for Evolution of Business and Institution (CEGBI), York, United Kingdom

Co-founded a Ph.D. seminar series program in 2013 with other 2 colleagues.
Planned and organized Ph.D. seminar series (~ 7 seminar series per academic year).
Invited speakers from outside York and international (from France, Thailand, Jordan, Sweden, Nigeria).
Facilitated introduction of speakers and discussion during seminar sessions.
Managed budget allocated by CEGBI group for guest's transport, accommodation, etc.
Organized, executed, and promoted student-led seminars to postgraduate students and academic staff (~30 attendees).
9. Independent Researcher, Auckland - Rotorua, New Zealand
September 2011 - February 2012
Collected data using interview and secondary sources from libraries in Auckland, Rotorua, and Wellington.
Translated data gathered from interviewees from foreign languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese, Mandarin) to English.
Conducted follow-up interviews with previous interviewees for data verification.
