DR. NUR SUHAILI BINTI RAMLI (Ph.D, MBA, BTech)

Dr. Nur Suhaili is an entrepreneur and social scientist who holds positions as a Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Having resided in several countries and currently living in a multicultural neighbourhood, she possesses a deep understanding of diversity. Dr. Suhaili successfully completed her Postdoctoral research in Italy and earned a PhD in Management from the University of York in the United Kingdom. She actively engages in public events and has extensive teaching and research experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Italy, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom, covering subjects such as Entrepreneurship, International Buisness, Marketing Strategy, Business Research, Information Technology for Business Management, and Innovation. Dr. Suhaili has also been a Visiting Scholar in Japan, Malaysia, and Italy and has presented her research at international and national conferences, including the European Union-Erasmus Conferences, Falling Walls Conference, European Business History Association (EBHA), Association of Business Historians (ABH), and Associazione Studi Storici sull'impresa (ASSI), mainly in Europe. 

Prior to entering academia, she worked as a Computer Network Security Analyst for ExxonMobil, the world's largest multinational oil and gas company, and as a SAP HR Consultant for NorthgateArinso, serving clients such as Enel Energia Italy, Bank of America, Barclay's Capital UK, and EuHReka Belgium. She has received numerous academic research, and travel grants awards. She has a number of publications with citations. She also actively disseminates her research findings to both academic and non-academic audiences through various media platforms and events, such as newspapers, blogs, global summits, and social media. Her primary areas of interest are marketing strategy, identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, global brands, competitiveness, and business history.

Dr. Nur Suhaili has a multidisciplinary background, particularly in business management, information technology, and the arts, and she always brings these perspectives to her work. Her project was recently awarded a Global Finalist Honourable Mention by NASA in SpaceApps Challenge 2022, out of 443 projects worldwide. Her project previously received a Global Nominee from NASA in SpaceApps Challenge 2018, placing among the top four projects from 877 virtual participants worldwide. She was also named one of the Top 100 Young Innovators in the world in 2015. She is a member of the 500 Women Scientists Association and has been nominated as an Associate Member of Sigma Xi The Scientific Research Honor Society. She is excited about future academic and non-academic collaborations, as well as global business opportunities. She is currently lending her marketing strategy expertise to assist potential local brands in becoming global brands in the entertainment industry.
