COLLABORATION
I am an enthusiastic, adaptive, and fast-learning individual with a broad and keen interest in discovering new aspects of marketing strategy and entrepreneurship. I particularly enjoy collaborating with scientists from diverse disciplines, backgrounds, countries, and cultures to develop new skills, gain experience, and tackle fresh challenges, aiming to contribute to knowledge, society, and the global community.
Published work: Collaborated with other scientists for academic paper, book projects and teaching note. I collaborated with Professor Domenico Nicolo' (Italy) and Professor Andrei Jean Vasile (Romania) for a book entitled "Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Investments in the Green Economy", and contributed a chapter in my area of expertise "Green Marketing: A New Prospect in the Cosmetics Industry". I also collaborated with Dr Atakan Durmaz (Turkey) for another book project on "New Economics" and contributed a chapter entitled "Review of Immigrant Entrepreneurship in the Southern European Countries and its impact on Economic Growth". I collaborated with Professor Gabriele Suder, an expert in International Business and Strategy from The University of Melbourne (Australia) for a teaching note published in "Doing Business in Europe 3rd Edition" and I also contributed a case study "Chocolate Business in Europe: Marketing and the European Chocolate Industry". In my primary focus on marketing strategy and entrepreneurship, I have collaborated with Professor Vladi Finotto, Professor Lingjie Meng, and Dr. Soheila Raeisi.
Grant application: I collaborated with Professor Rosilawati Zainol from the University of Malaya (Malaysia) and Professor Tobroni from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (Indonesia) for Volkswagen Stiftung grant. I also collaborated with Professor Rosilawati Zainol for other grant application - Spencer Foundation Small Grant.
Interpersonal skills: Coached and collaborated with fellow scientists, outlining objectives, methodology, and conclusions, actively listening and stimulating interest and discussion. Exchanged constructive feedback and support, and learned to delegate responsibilities. I have had the opportunity to be hosted by Professor Ai Hisano at Kyoto University, Japan, to exchange ideas and discuss marketing strategy from a business history perspective in the textile industry in Italy.
Adaptability: Collaborated and communicated effectively at all professional levels, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, as demonstrated during my tenure hosted by Professor Shakila Yaacob back in Malaysia. Can work both independently and in team settings. Adapted to living abroad, increased my command of English as well as foreign languages, learned perseverance and self-motivation.
Management and organization: Managed several projects and collaborations concurrently, planned work to meet deadlines and achieve targets, set realistic objectives, and developed creative solutions to challenges. Attended various management courses to enhance skills. Skilled in seeking and critically assessing extensive information to identify problems, evaluate options, and leverage personal and collective experience to drive progress. During my PhD studies, I collaborated with Professor Teresa Da Silva Lopes and Professor Bob Doherty, assisting in managing and organizing research projects, seminars, and workshops from 2012 to 2017.
Teaching: I supervised and taught undergraduate and postgraduate students, adapting to various scientific levels and backgrounds, stimulating discussions and reflection. I have collaborated with colleagues at Ca' Foscari University of Venice in the teaching stream, such as Professor Giacomo Pasini, Professor Nicole Tabasso, Professor Fabio Michelucci, and Professor Raluca Elena Buia.
