Master of Nursing Graduation

I mastered it!

After 2 years of hard work, I graduated with my Master of Nursing degree from the University of Washington, Bothell. Many thanks to everyone who's provided me so much support and encouragement during this time and came to watch the culmination of these efforts.

The first step in using my shiny new MN degree is applying to every nursing school in the area to be part-time faculty and see what happens. I'll also be looking into any nursing education jobs in the local hospitals to see if any of those are a good fit for me as well.

I'm excited to take this next step in my nursing career, and my passion really lies in education and the OR, so I'll be doing what I can to combine those together. This might mean looking for opportunities to be an educator in the OR itself, or bringing nursing students into this unique specialty.
