Pulai Retreat Resort- in a tropical forest prioritizing sustainability, biodiversity conservation, responsible tourism practices, and attention to its context. However, the development in the forest has its own limitations due to the conditions of the surrounding forest or natural environment that may affect occupants’ experience and development. Hence, the retreat resort planning has considered and fully incorporated the surrounding forest's conditions, especially in retaining the optimum amount of natural lighting received in internal spaces to ensure a well-lit and healthy environment throughout the building envelope.
