Since 2020, the European Observatory of Memories (EUROM) has been directing the Museological and Museographic Project of the Memory Space, in agreement with the Barcelona City Council. The ultimate goal of both projects is the pedagogical transmission of the memories linked to the prison, from a historical and urban point of view.

The seven watchtowers of the former prison La Model in Barcelona had been the object of a signaling action and temporary enlightening.
The action aims to give more visibility to the participative process promoted by the Platform Fem Nostre l'Espai de la Model, pointing out the citizen demands about the uses of the building.

The platform named Fem Nostre l’Espai de La Model organized a protest party at the corner of La Model prison in Barcelona. The event took place on May 29, 2016, as part of the participatory process to transform this penitentiary, which is planned to be evicted in 2017.
A public space intervention explained the main claims of the Platform. Designed by Nuria Ricart and Jordi Guixé. Mural design of Rock Blackbloc, inspired by the artist Helios Gomez.
