I am a research and teaching fellow at University of Lille and Lille Economy Management (LEM UMR CNRS 9221).
I obtained my PhD in economics, with the European Doctorate Label, at University of Lille (LEM) in September 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Jan Fidrmuc, Prof. Simone Moriconi and Prof. Claire Naiditch. My thesis comprises four chapters analyzing migration, inequality, public finance, and political economy in the Turkish and French contexts.
I was a visiting scholar at KU Leuven in Fall 2022, supported by the MOBLILEX grant.
I completed my master's degree in economics at Istanbul Technical University and my bachelor's degree in economics at Galatasaray University (with a minor in mathematics) and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
My fields of interests are migration economics, labor economics, political economy and applied econometrics using the statistical software Stata, R Studio and Python.
