Neutrinos are among the fundamental building blocks of the universe—elementary particles known to have no internal structure.

Neutrinos interact with matter extremely rarely, posing significant experimental challenges while simultaneously enabling us to explore fundamental mysteries of the universe.

Neutrinos change their types, or flavors, as they propagate through spacetime. We exploit this phenomenon—known as neutrino oscillation—to probe the fundamental properties of the universe.
