 Officials say the operation will cover markets, motor parks, and major streets.

The Kano State Anti-Phone Snatching Force has carried out a major security operation across different parts of the state as part of efforts to ensure lasting peace.

The force said its primary goal is to protect lives and property, clamp down on criminals, fight phone snatching and drug abuse, to ensure residents go about their businesses peacefully.

Commander of the Force, Nura Salisu Sharada, said the task force will continue to conduct such day and night operations in collaboration with other security agencies and with community support to guarantee effective security across Kano State.
