This webpage provides information about the work undertaken by the team headed by Professor Nuno P Mira on the biology, genetics, genomics and physiology of Yeasts. Our research projects are on multiple areas where Yeasts intervene, either as friends or foes. Mira's lab is integrated in the Biological Sciences Research Group of the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences, a research unit of Instituto Superior Técnico and one of the members of the I4HB associate laboratory.
