Privacy Policy for NumIQ
Last updated: April 1, 2026
NumIQ ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the NumIQ mobile application handles information.
1. Information We Collect
NumIQ does not require you to create an account and does not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
The app stores certain data locally on your device so the app can function properly, including:
- quiz scores and performance history
- XP, levels, coins, and streak progress
- selected avatar and username
- app preferences and settings
This locally stored data is not uploaded by us to our own server.
2. Advertising
NumIQ uses Unity Ads to provide optional rewarded advertisements.
When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Unity Ads may collect or process certain device-related information, which may include identifiers such as the device advertising ID, IP address, device information, and other information as described in Unity's privacy documentation.
Unity's Privacy Policy:
https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
NumIQ does not control the data practices of Unity Ads. Please review Unity's Privacy Policy for more details.
3. How Information Is Used
The locally stored app data is used only to:
- save your game and learning progress
- remember your settings and preferences
- manage rewards, levels, streaks, and in-app state
- support optional rewarded ads
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share data with our own backend servers because NumIQ currently does not use a backend service for user accounts or cloud storage.
However, third-party services such as Unity Ads may process data according to their own privacy policies.
5. Children's Privacy
NumIQ is intended for general audiences and may be used by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact that provider directly and contact us as well.
6. Data Security
Because app progress and settings are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
While we aim to use trusted third-party services, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Your Choices
You may be able to limit personalized advertising through your device settings.
On Android, you can manage ad preferences through your Google settings.
You can also stop all local data storage by uninstalling the app, which may remove app data from your device depending on your device settings.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The app may reference third-party services, including Unity Ads. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
