This Privacy Policy describes how Numerolator ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Numerolator mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

This Policy applies to users globally, with specific provisions for users in India in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules"), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") where applicable.

 

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register or use the App, you may provide:

      Full name

      Email address

      Phone number

      Payment information (processed securely through Razorpay; we do not store full card/bank details on our servers)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

      Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)

      App usage data (features accessed, session duration, in-app actions)

      Log data (IP address, timestamps, error reports, crash data)

      Subscription status and transaction history

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

      Precise GPS or real-time location data

      Camera or microphone access

      Health or biometric data

      Data from your contacts, calendar, or files

      Full payment card numbers, CVV, or bank account numbers (handled exclusively by Razorpay)

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

      Account Creation & Management: To register, verify, and maintain your user account

      Service Delivery: To provide access to App features and subscription services

      Payment Processing: To facilitate subscription billing through Razorpay

      Customer Support: To respond to your queries, complaints, and support requests

      Communications: To send transactional emails (receipts, subscription confirmations, renewal reminders) and important service updates

      App Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose errors, and improve App performance and features

      Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable legal obligations, including under Indian law

      Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse

We will not use your personal information for purposes incompatible with those listed above without obtaining your prior consent.

 

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

      Consent: Where you have explicitly consented (e.g., registration, marketing communications)

      Contractual Necessity: To perform our obligations under your subscription agreement

      Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable laws, including Indian law

      Legitimate Interests: For App improvement, security, and fraud prevention, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

      Razorpay (Payment Processor): We share transaction-related data with Razorpay to process payments. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant and processes your payment data under its own Privacy Policy (razorpay.com/privacy). We are not responsible for Razorpay's data practices.

      Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information to law enforcement, government authorities, or courts where required by applicable law, court order, or legal process, including under Indian law.

      Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same protections described in this Policy.

      With Your Consent: We may share your data with other third parties if you have given explicit, informed consent.

All third parties with whom we share data are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

 

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the App and its services. Specifically:

      Account data: Retained for the duration of your account, plus 3 years after closure for legal compliance purposes

      Payment and transaction records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian tax and financial regulations

      Support correspondence: Retained for 2 years from last interaction

      App usage/log data: Retained for up to 12 months

When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with industry-standard practices.

 

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

      Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

      Secure storage practices

      Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only

      Regular security assessments

Payment information is handled exclusively by Razorpay, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance. We do not store full card or banking credentials on our servers.

Despite our measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights or interests, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

 

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

      Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

      Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

      Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)

      Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time

      Right to Grievance Redressal: Under the DPDP Act, 2023, Indian users may raise grievances with us or with the Data Protection Board of India

      Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible

If you are dissatisfied with our response, Indian users may approach the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023.

 

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

10. International Users

Numerolator is operated from India. If you access the App from outside India, your information may be transferred to and processed in India, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to India and acknowledge that your data will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law.

 

11. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The App may use local storage, analytics SDKs, or similar technologies to collect usage data and improve the App experience. These are used solely for functional and analytical purposes, not for targeted advertising.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to advertising networks.

 

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (such as Razorpay). This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

 

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email to the address registered with your account, at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
