This Privacy Policy explains how Numera ("the app", "we") handles your information. Numera is an inventory-counting app that scans barcodes and QR codes to tally stock. We designed the app to work offline and to keep your data on your device.
Numera does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or other personal identifiers.
Scan and inventory data (scanned codes, quantities, zone and survey names you enter) is stored only on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or have access to this data.
Camera: The app uses your device camera solely to scan barcodes and QR codes in real time. Images are not saved, stored, or transmitted.
Internet access is used only for: (a) displaying advertisements, and (b) checking the current time from a public time (NTP) server to manage the ad-free period. The time check does not involve personal data.
Numera displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To provide and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, such as a device advertising identifier, device and usage information, and approximate location derived from IP address. This processing is governed by Google's policies.
You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (e.g., "Ads" settings on Android, or resetting/deleting your advertising ID).
All inventory data you create stays in local storage on your device. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted. Exporting data (CSV, Excel, JSON) creates files that you choose to save or share; once shared, those files are outside our control.
We do not sell, rent, or share your inventory data with third parties. The only third-party data processing is by Google AdMob for advertising, as described above.
Numera is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can delete your inventory data at any time by deleting surveys within the app, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.
You can manage ad personalization through your device's advertising settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app with an updated effective date.
