It helps display location-based results (e.g., nearby points of interest or services). Your approximate location data is processed temporarily on your device to provide these features and is never stored, logged, or shared with any third party.
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION – This permission is required only when you choose to share your live location while the app is minimized or the device screen is off. Before requesting this permission, the app provides a clear in-app disclosure explaining its use. Location sharing stops automatically when you end sharing or when the selected timer expires. Background location data is never stored or shared with third parties.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION – used to keep location sharing active in the foreground with a persistent notification. This ensures the user is always aware that sharing is active.
