When you use the Face Scan feature, an image containing a face may be temporarily processed for on-device image quality checks and visual landmark mapping.
When you use the Face Scan feature, you may provide a photo containing a person's face through the camera or photo library.

Face Scan processing is performed on the user's device. Face images are not transmitted to third-party services for facial analysis.

If you disable a permission, certain features of the application may not function correctly.
You can choose whether to provide a photo through the camera or photo library when using features that require an image.
