I am an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department at the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. I work in the broad area of coding theory and applications, including coded caching, index coding, etc.
Recent Updates:
Jan 2024: Invited talk in a Faculty Development Program on Industry 5.0 held in College of Engineering, Adoor on the topic: "Channel coding for Industry 5.0".
Jan 2024: Teaching 3021D-Information Theory and Coding
Oct 2023: A part of the telecommunication team that received the "5G use case lab" for NIT Calicut under the Department of Telecommunication, Govt. of India.
Sep 2023: Received SERB Start-up Research Grant for the project titled "Index Coding for Infotainment Message Dissemination in VANETs."
Aug 2023: Teaching EC3012D-Communication Theory and Systems-II in Monsoon 2023.
Jan 2023: Teaching EC3021D-Information Theory and Coding in Winter 2023.
Aug 2022: Teaching EC4011D-Wireless Communication in Monsoon 2022.
July 04, 2022: I started working as an Assistant Professor at NIT Calicut.
Dec 2021: Teaching EC3021D-Information Theory and Coding in Winter 2022.
Dec 2021: The manuscript with Anjana Mahesh and Prof. B. Sundar Rajan was published in IEEE Communication Letters
Sep 15, 2021: Received INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship Award and Joined NIT Calicut as an INSPIRE Faculty.
