If you want a universal depth extender for a standard 6.5-inch speaker swap on any vehicle, choose NuIth Universal 6.5; if you need a complete, plug-and-play upgrade kit specifically designed to fit a Ford Super Duty with integrated wiring harnesses, choose Enhon 6x9. This is not about guessing which box looks better on the shelf; it is about matching the hardware to your specific mounting constraints and vehicle architecture.
• NuIth Universal 6.5: Its biggest strength is its universality as a simple spacer ring that adds 0.59 inches of depth for almost any 6.5-inch aftermarket speaker. The trade-off is that it offers no wiring solutions or vehicle-specific tailoring, requiring you to source your own adapters and wires. This pick is for DIYers doing a quick, generic install where the factory mount is slightly too shallow.
• Enhon 6x9: Its biggest strength is the completeness of the kit, featuring pre-wired harnesses and dual-position brackets (6x9 front, 6.5 rear) engineered specifically for Ford F150 and Super Duty trucks from 2015 through 2024. The trade-off is its extreme specificity; it will not work on a non-Ford vehicle or even a Ford model outside that production range without significant modification. This pick is for truck owners who want a professional-grade sound upgrade without touching a soldering iron.
The NuIth Universal 6.5 inch Car Door Speaker Mounting Ring Spacer Adapter is a solution for a very specific physical problem: space. Many factory door panels are shallow, meaning when you try to drop in a high-performance aftermarket speaker, the magnet assembly hits the back of the door panel before the speaker can sit flush. This adapter solves that by adding exactly 0.59 inches of extension. It is a purely mechanical fix. You do not get any electronics here; you just get two sturdy rings made of durable ABS plastic that bridge the gap between your new speaker and your existing metal bracket.
This product is ideal for the generalist modifier. If you have a sedan, an older SUV, or a motorcycle sidecar setup where you need to mount a 6.5-inch speaker into a hole that was originally sized for something smaller or shallower, this is the tool you reach for. The design relies on the existing vehicle mounting points, meaning you do not need to cut new holes in your door panels or drill into the frame. It utilizes the original aperture, sliding the new speaker out just enough to clear the obstruction while keeping the aesthetic look of a factory install intact.
However, you should skip this product if you are looking for a complete audio overhaul system or if you are driving a modern Ford Super Duty where the wiring and speaker sizes differ significantly from standard dimensions. There is no wire harness included, and there is no specific "kit" logic here. It is a single-purpose component: a spacer. If your current issue is a rattling door or a magnet hitting the panel, this works. If your issue is lack of power, poor signal, or incompatible mounting geometry, this part alone will not solve it.

The Enhon 6x9 system is a fundamentally different beast. This is not just a piece of plastic; it is a comprehensive installation ecosystem designed for one specific family of vehicles: the Ford F150, F250, F350, F450, and F550 Super Duty models built between 2015 and 2024. The core value proposition here is the elimination of custom fabrication. The kit includes two front plates designed for 6x9 speakers and two rear plates for 6.5-inch units, creating a full four-door upgrade path that matches the unique contours of these trucks' door bins.
What sets this apart immediately is the inclusion of copper core wiring harnesses. In many truck upgrades, the factory connectors are proprietary or difficult to splice without damaging the vehicle's electrical integrity. This kit plugs directly into the existing plugs, preserving the electrical system while delivering a clean signal to the new speakers. You are getting a seamless integration that mimics what a dealer might offer but at a fraction of the cost and complexity. The ABS construction is rated for high impact and corrosion resistance, ensuring the brackets can withstand the extreme temperature fluctuations inside a cabin or under a truck hood without warping or cracking over time.
This product is strictly for the Ford enthusiast who wants a "drop-in" experience. If you own a 2018 F250 and want to replace your stock sound system with larger speakers for better bass response and clarity, this is the path of least resistance. It eliminates the guesswork of custom mounting and allows you to utilize existing factory mounting points without drilling. However, if you drive a Honda, Toyota, or even a Ford model from a different year range, this kit is useless to you. The dimensions and connector layouts are too specific. It is a premium solution for a premium niche, offering a professional result at home but demanding that you match the exact vehicle specifications to make it work.
• Best for vehicle compatibility → NuIth Universal 6.5 works with almost any car or bike that uses a standard 6.5-inch speaker mount, whereas Enhon is locked to specific Ford trucks.
• Best for ease of wiring → Enhon wins decisively with its included copper core harnesses that plug directly into factory ports; NuIth requires you to handle all wiring connections yourself.
• Best for mounting flexibility → NuIth provides a generic depth extension that can be adapted to various speaker brands, while Enhon offers fixed positions optimized only for Ford door geometries.
• Best for a full 4-door upgrade → Enhon provides a complete set for both front and rear doors in one package, whereas NuIth sells individual spacer rings.
• Best for avoiding drilling → Both products claim to use existing mounting points, but Enhon achieves this more comprehensively by engineering the entire plate shape to the factory bin, reducing the need for any custom fitting.
• Best for extreme durability → Enhon highlights its corrosion-resistant ABS construction designed for heavy-duty Super Duty usage, though NuIth also uses durable ABS for general utility.
• Best for motorcycle applications → NuIth Universal 6.5 is the practical choice here because motorcycles often require universal spacers due to varied frame mounts, unlike the vehicle-specific Enhon kit.
• Best for beginners → Enhon reduces technical barriers with its plug-and-play harnesses, making it easier for those who fear messing with electrical systems.
If I were standing in my garage right now, choosing between these two for a motorcycle audio project, I would buy the NuIth Universal 6.5. Motorcycles rarely come with the standardized door bins found in cars, let alone the specific wiring harnesses of a Ford Super Duty. The versatility of the NuIth spacer is critical here; it allows me to take a high-quality 6.5-inch speaker and adapt it to whatever mounting surface I have, adding the necessary depth to prevent magnet interference without needing a custom-molded bracket. The Enhon kit, while excellent for its intended truck market, is far too specialized for the open-road, universal needs of a motorcycle build. I recommend the NuIth Universal 6.5 for anyone who values flexibility and needs a simple, effective way to clear mounting obstacles.
