He has broken and held multiple records, and points to those in his life who supported him as the reason for his success.

With nearly 30,000 fans expected Saturday, officials say the Usher and Chris Brown concert will be one of the largest productions ever staged at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Dome managing director Pete Sala said Thursday that planning to host “The R&B Tour” has been in the works for nearly eight months and the stage inside the campus sports arena has been under construction since Monday. Saturday’s show will be the popular singers’ first-ever appearance in Syracuse.
The tour’s production has required 100 equipment trucks, 30 tour buses and multiple cranes to set up a stage that spans more than half of the Dome’s football field. The concerts will include an elaborate LED light show, lasers and special effects.
“This is bigger than The (Rolling) Stones concerts in the ‘90s,” Sala said. “It’s not just a concert – they put on a show.”
Know Before You Go
The Dome’s doors open at 6 p.m. with music starting around 7 p.m.
With a nearly sold-out crowd anticipated, Sala urged concertgoers to show up early. Parking passes for the garage and lots west of the Dome are sold out, while other campus lots and up to 50 continuously running shuttles from the Lally Athletic Complex on South Campus start at 4 p.m.
