Puyallup Research & Extension Center opens their doors for a morning tour of the Washington Stormwater Center and salmon toxicology lab. The tour will be proceeded by a working session Thursday afternoon (post conference) that brings experts who are looking for opportunities of mutual benefit related to funding or the setting up of coordinating networks related to research and extension efforts associated with Green Infrastructure.
Extend your visit to Seattle with an EXTRA day of immersive learning with half day working group session on Thursday, May 23rd, followed by a half day morning field trip on Friday, May 24th.

As you’re building your travel itinerary, please be sure that your flight departure and overnight accommodations coincide with the Friday field trip schedule (This may mean booking a 5pm or later Friday flight home or extending your overnight accommodations through Saturday morning).

FRIDAY TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation to WSU Puyallup R & E Center on Friday will be provided from Motif Hotel. Return transportation will also stop at SeaTac airport. If you decide to stay off-site on Thursday night, you will need to arrive on Friday morning at Motif Hotel no later than 8:20am for departure at 8:30am (the closest lightrail stop is Westlake Center. The area is served by dozens of Metro busses as well as Über and Lyft ).
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS:
Don’t forget to extend your overnight accommodations when deciding to attend the Green Infrastructure Working Group / Tour. You may choose to stay at Motif, or a nearby hotel. Booking overnight accommodations at a hotel near SeaTac airport is also an option for Friday night (and can be easily accessed by an airport courtesy shuttle from SeaTac Airport).
