Our Mission

Overarching Goal: Minimize deaths resulting from COVID infection

Strategy of Chicago-based COVID Coalition:

1. Inform policies and other actions that can maximize and preserve the capacity and quality of hospital care for severely ill COVID patients

2. Inform policies and actions that minimize the rate of new cases of severe/critical COVID patients

3. Catalyze and speed the identification and spread of new treatments and care delivery approaches that improve survival and other outcomes for patients with COVID infection
