North Texas Prescribed Burn Association

Providing opportunities for members and non-members to expand their knowledge about, or to develop skills in prescribed burning;  

Education and training to its members regarding the safe and effective use of prescribed burning within the State of Texas as an agricultural, ranching, and land management practice;

Providing education on how to foster good relations within the community regarding the use of prescribed burning;

Providing equipment and expertise for the members and non-members to practice prescribed burning;

Using prescribed burning to help natural resources recover from neglect and to preserves natural resources for future generations; and

Using prescribed burning  to provide fire protection and/or prevention from wild or unexpected fires.
