Brain and Language Processing Lab

Our lab is fascinated by how the human mind understands language—one of our most remarkable cognitive abilities. We bring together ideas from linguistics, psychology, and neuroscience to explore how the brain makes sense of words and meaning. Our work looks at how linguistic, emotional, and sensorimotor information interact across the two hemispheres to shape language understanding. We also study how these processes change as people age, influenced by life experience and the brain’s natural development over time.

我們的實驗室對人類大腦如何理解語言這項驚人的認知能力非常好奇。藉由結合語言學、心理學與神經科學的觀點，我們探索大腦如何讓文字與意義產生連結。我們實驗室裡的研究議題涵蓋了語言、情緒與感官動作資訊如何在左右半腦間互動，共同形塑語言理解。我們也研究這些歷程如何隨著年齡變化而改變，並受到生活經驗與大腦自然發展的影響。
