COORDINATOR
Afolabi Shodunke is a dynamic and globally engaged changemaker with a solid foundation in social development, governance, and policy analysis. With over six years of experience in social work and youth empowerment across Nigeria and the UK, he has earned a reputation as a compassionate, structured, and visionary leader.
Known for his calm strength and strategic thinking, Afolabi has served in various impactful roles—supporting children, families, and school communities through youth-focused interventions, counselling, and educational outreach. His work spans multiple agencies, including the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development and the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, where he played a key role in the LASKADA initiative (Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse).
He holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Bradford, a Master’s in Social Work, and a B.Sc. in Sociology from Lagos State University. His exposure to both Nigerian and UK systems has shaped him into a bridge-builder—deeply committed to inclusion, community development, and policy-driven impact.
He is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASOW), and is currently in the process of registering with Social Work England (SWE). Afolabi is also the author of the inspirational book Against All Odds, which captures his journey of resilience, leadership, and purposeful service.
Now returning for a second tenure as Coordinator of the NTSS Class of 2001 Alumni Association (NTSS01), Afolabi brings renewed energy, proven leadership, and a clear sense of purpose. Having previously served from 2021 to 2023, he is well-regarded for his calm, inclusive leadership style and his ability to keep the group focused, engaged, and united.
Though currently based in the UK, Afolabi remains deeply connected to his roots and passionate about fostering professional collaboration, unity, and sustainable growth within the alumni network. With a bold vision to elevate the association, he steps forward once again — ready to lead with excellence, heart, and impact.
ASSISTANT COORDINATOR
Veronica Oseyomo Ehikhamenor, fondly known as Ronika, serves as the Assistant Coordinator of the NTSS01 Executive Committee. Known for her vibrant personality and deep sense of commitment, Ronika has been an active and consistent contributor to alumni activities over the years.
She played key roles in both the 20th and 25th Anniversary Planning Committees, where her dedication and collaborative spirit stood out. Her passion for the NTSS01 community continues to reflect in her leadership and hands-on involvement.
Professionally, Veronica is a businesswoman engaged in the sales of perfumes and fragrances, bringing creativity and entrepreneurship into everything she does. She holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, a foundation that complements her organized and goal-driven approach to leadership.
As Assistant Coordinator, she brings a blend of experience, warmth, and purpose-driven service to support the growth and unity of the NTSS01 family.
SECRETARY
Blessing Uzezi Ememe, affectionately called Okurame, serves as the Secretary of the NTSS01 Executive Committee — a role she embraces with her signature energy and commitment to community.
A passionate and experienced educator, Blessing works in the education sector and also plays an administrative role within her institution. She previously served on the NTSS01 Electoral Committee (2022), where she demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of duty — qualities she now brings into her role as Secretary.
Blessing has consistently shown dedication to service and the growth of the NTSS01 alumni body. Known for her openness, strong communication, and teamwork, she continues to be a unifying presence among her peers.
ASSISTANT SECRETARY
Chinyere Tina Okpara, fondly called Madame Chi, brings dedication, discipline, and depth to her role as the Assistant Secretary of the NTSS01 Executive Committee. A passionate educator and language professional, she currently serves as a French Language Facilitator and Translator, shaping young minds through the power of language.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in French and a Master of Arts in the Teaching of French as a Foreign Language (MTFFL). As a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Madame Chi is committed to upholding excellence and integrity in the education sector.
Though she has not previously served in any official NTSS01 capacity, her professionalism and enthusiasm for growth make her a valuable addition to the team. Known for her calm presence and deep sense of responsibility, she looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the alumni body.
PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (PRO)
Ayanwale Kola, widely known by his nickname “Increase,” brings strength, structure, and sincerity to his role as the Public Relations Officer of the NTSS01 Executive Committee.
A dedicated professional, Kola currently works as a Camp Boss, managing operations and maintaining high standards in his field. He holds an HND in Accounting and is currently pursuing certification with ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) — a testament to his drive for growth and excellence.
Though he’s serving in his first official NTSS01 role, Kola has already earned admiration for his integrity, commitment, and excellent interpersonal skills. He is a recipient of a Safety Award by NPDC, highlighting his attention to detail and passion for high standards.
As PRO, Kola is passionate about fostering open communication, strengthening alumni visibility, and promoting unity across the NTSS01 network.
WELFARE SECRETARY
Lilian Ada Oriakhi brings heart, empathy, and positive energy to her role as Welfare Coordinator of the NTSS01 Executive Committee. A passionate people-person with a deep sense of care, she is committed to ensuring that no member of the NTSS01 family is left behind.
Professionally, Lilian is a businesswoman and social media manager, combining creativity with strategic communication in her daily work. She holds a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) and is certified in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE 1 & 2) — reflecting her holistic approach to well-being.
Lilian is known for her approachable nature and willingness to support others. Her dedication to both personal and group growth makes her a valuable asset to the Executive Team.
With Lilian in this role, the welfare of NTSS01 members is in compassionate and capable hands.
DIRECTOR OF SOCIALS (DOS)
Francis Effiong Sunday, fondly called Phranky, brings charisma, creativity, and experience to his role as the Director of Socials of the NTSS01 Executive Committee. Known for his vibrant personality and team spirit, Phranky has served the alumni body with distinction, having previously held the position of Vice President twice — a testament to his leadership and commitment.
Professionally, he works as a Student Custodian (Non-Teaching Staff) where he plays an essential role in student welfare and campus coordination. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and has completed Global Leadership Training (SALT), which has further sharpened his leadership and interpersonal skills.
As DOS, Phranky is passionate about creating engaging, inclusive, and memorable experiences for NTSS01 members — keeping the spirit of connection and celebration alive.
FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Florence Olajumoke Chukwu is a dedicated and dependable member of the NTSS 01 Alumni Association with a longstanding record of active service. A seasoned businesswoman and strategic thinker, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and currently runs her own enterprise, overseeing operations, financial management, and customer relations with excellence and integrity.
Florence has served as Financial Secretary across multiple tenures, earning the trust of the alumni body through her transparent handling of funds and strong commitment to accountability. She has also contributed meaningfully to various committees and special projects, consistently offering her time, expertise, and leadership behind the scenes.
In addition to her role in NTSS 01, Florence currently serves as the Financial Secretary of the Mothership — NTSS Old Students Association (NTSSOSA), further underscoring the respect and confidence she commands across alumni circles. She owns a thriving retail and wholesale business that specializes in provisions, foodstuffs, and toiletries, and is actively pursuing ICAN certification to further strengthen her professional standing in financial management.
Her deep understanding of the association’s structure, combined with her financial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, makes her a stabilizing and valuable force within the executive team. As she resumes her role as Financial Secretary, Florence brings consistency, credibility, and a heart for service — all vital to the continued growth and impact of the association.
TREASURER
Adelaja Adijat Modupe is a long-standing and deeply committed member of the NTSS 01 Alumni Association. Known for her calm reliability, practical wisdom and sense of humor, she runs a growing financial service outlet, providing trusted POS and agency banking services. Her entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership reflect her passion for service and self-reliance.
Over the years, Adijat has consistently shown up, supporting alumni initiatives with sincerity and a strong sense of duty. As Treasurer, she brings integrity, transparency, and a grounded approach to managing the association’s finances. Dependable and detail-oriented, Adijat is widely respected as someone who does what she says and delivers with quiet excellence.
