This privacy policy applies to the BrainBoost: Exam Prep & Quizzes, a project of Rising Stars Pakistan (the "Application"), created and managed by Rising Star Learning Center ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using our Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To provide and improve our services, we collect several types of information depending on how you use our Application.
A. Information You Provide Directly:
Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your Name and Email Address. We also require you to create a Password, which is stored securely using industry-standard hashing techniques.
PUBLIC LEADERBOARD NOTICE: Please be aware that your chosen Name or username, along with your total score, will be publicly visible to all other users on the in-app leaderboard. We recommend using a nickname or username for privacy instead of your full legal name.
User Feedback and Support: We collect the information you voluntarily submit through our "Suggestion and Report" feature. This includes any suggestions, issue reports, questions, or other messages you send to us. We use this to respond to your inquiries, improve the Application, and provide user support.
B. Information Collected Automatically:
App Activity and Progress: We automatically track your interactions within the Application, such as your quiz scores, achievement progress, and which study materials you view. This is fundamental to the app's functionality, allowing you to track your learning and personal growth.
Technical and Device Information: We automatically collect certain technical data from your device, including your IP address, device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
App Performance Data: Through integrated services, we collect crash logs and diagnostics data. This helps us identify bugs, monitor app stability, and make performance improvements.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
To Display Public Leaderboards: To foster a competitive and engaging learning environment, we display your Name/username and total score on a public leaderboard visible to other Application users.
To Provide and Maintain the Service: To operate the quiz, track your scores, manage your account, and deliver educational content.
To Improve the Application: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features.
To Communicate With You: To respond to your support requests, provide account-related notifications, and inform you of important updates.
For Security and Compliance: To prevent fraud, protect the security of our users and services, and comply with legal obligations.
3. DATA SECURITY
We are committed to protecting your data. We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption for data in transit (using HTTPS) and secure storage practices for sensitive information like passwords. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
4. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may retain some data for a limited period after account deletion to comply with legal obligations or to prevent abuse of the system.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use third-party services to help us operate and improve the Application. These services act as our "service providers" and process data on our behalf. Our key service providers include:
Firebase (by Google): We use Firebase for backend infrastructure, including database storage, user authentication, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and analytics.
AdMob (by Google): We use AdMob to display advertisements within the Application, which helps keep our services free. AdMob may collect data to provide personalized ads.
We do not "share" your personal data (like your name or email) with third parties for their own independent use, except when required by law.
6. ACCOUNT DELETION
You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. To do so, please follow these steps:
Open the BrainBoost: Exam Prep & Quizzes app.
Navigate to the Quiz Section, then go to your Profile.
Select the "Delete Account" option.
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your deletion request.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 without adult supervision. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

The scoring system is designed to engage users in learning and provide a sense of achievement. Scores earned within the app are strictly for gamification and educational motivation; they hold no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, rewards, or any other financial benefit. The Application does not facilitate gambling or any illegal activities.
